FRIDAY {SURPRISE} PRIZE!

This week's winner is taking home this fat quarter of double gauze "treffle" matryoshka fabric from Kokka. Check out the whole amazing Kokka collection at Fabricworm!

We started to drool when we read this recipe idea from K. Fox on the Cucumber Mint Popsicle post:

All-time favorite sorbet that I've come up with? Pickled Ginger-Lemongrass-Thai Chili. Yeah. Sounds crazy, but it's really crazy good. The lemongrass and sweet ginger flavor hit you first and is so refreshing, then at the very end that spicy chili comes through and we actually sweat a bit. Simply put one or two chillies (these are HOT), one stalk lemongrass (crack and crush the stalk first to release the aroma and oils), pickled ginger to taste, one cup water and 1/2 cup sugar into a pan, bring it down into a syrup then either churn it in an ice cream maker for small bowls, or pour into popsicle molds. Note: unless your kid is a champ with the spicy this is a better adult indulgence. Haha, and I'm not sure anyone could handle a whole paper cup's worth. ;)
Yum! And since we're on the subject of paper cups - look what we're giving away this week! These Cotton Candy Stripe paper baking cups from our sponsor Bake it Pretty will make sure you are also enjoying a Summer of Fanciful Treats!

Enter to win this giveaway by leaving a comment on any post over the next week. Be hilarious, be ridiculous, be helpful, or just BE. We'll pick our favorite comment next Friday and mail these cuties off. Have a lovely weekend!

These would be great for me to put cupcakes in. That way once my kids are done licking off the frosting, the cupcake still has a cute place to be! I love Bake it Pretty!

Oh my gosh! I'm so ridiculously excited right now. I feel like such a dork! I literally had to cover my breastfeeding baby's ears so I could yell to my husband that I won! I know exactly what I'll do with it, too. Oooo! Haha! I'm SO excited. I'm ridiculous. Can I email you my address so it's not on all of Internet Land to see? :) Thank you so much!

The treat holders (thats what I would call these) would be perfect for Amelia's 1st Birthday Party (in 4 months). They would be perfect to use as a favor - Almond flavored cupcakes - with tiffany colored icing and pink and white sprinkled candy confetti. I would wrap then in clear baggies with ribbon on top, and of course Thank You tags.

the possibilities are endless!

I would deck out my living room with a sweet matryoshka pennant, and without a doubt I'd bake it pretty with those little beauties. A movie night would be in order, and I'd serve up some "popcorn", aka cupcakes with marshmallows on top! :)

Thanks for the chance to win!

LOVE these!! I would probably use them for popcorn cupcakes made with mini marshmallows... I bake hundreds of cupcakes a week and my hubby brings them to his precinct for the cops -- it would be nice for them to see red stripes and not just jail stripes!!
